The very informative event is to bring information, resources, and direct connections to the various programs and services offered through the Human Services Department to individuals and families in the Vinton area. We see this as a great opportunity to engage with residents, increase awareness of available resources, and help connect individuals and families with programs that may support their needs and promote greater stablity and self-sufficiency. Just a few resources that will be discussed are Family Day Care, Food for Seniors, Low income Home Energy Assistance, Supplemental Nutrition, Housing Choice Voucher Program and more.
