Tennessee School Children Donate Blankets
White Bluff, Tennessee
John Epperly, Electrical Department Supervisor and Billing Specialist, Stephanie Hardy, admire some donated  blankets that were sent out after the storms.  Students donating these items were a fourth grade class from the Community of White Bluff Tennessee.

White Bluff, TennesseeTheir teacher, Mrs. Rhonda Jarrett, and her class donated these items to the Town of Vinton so they could help make a difference in the lives of those affected by the hurricanes.  We applaud their generosity!

It was heart warming to get their package and share the expressions of care in each card that was written by the children.  Our Community wishes to thank the entire class and all who had a part in this project.  Our city honors these children for their charity, kindness and thoughtfulness.

Lakeville, MinnesotaLakeville, MinnesotaA Lakeville, Minnesota, 3rd grade class used the internet to find out about Vinton and used city pictures off the web site as part of their class project.  The teacher, Mrs. Paula Baragary at Eastview Elementary, says the class has been studying about “roxaboxen’s in their social studies class, which is learning how to build a community.  Some of the builders that were a part of the project were “ Funville”  Dominic, Hannah, Kaitlyn and Kevin; “Sillyville”,  Karlie, Madison, Stuart and Brady; “ACNM ville”, Alexia, Claire, Nick and Mike; “Rockville”, Bobby, Ben, Daniel, and Brady; “Niceville”, Natalie, Olivia, Josh, and Blaize.
