The Mayor and Council of
the Town of Vinton, Louisiana, met in special session at the regular meeting
place of said Mayor and Council, in the Town Hall, Vinton, Louisiana, at 6:00
P.M., on the 9th day of December, 2009, after full compliance with
all requirements as to notice and otherwise in respect to convening of said
meeting with the following members present:
Kenneth
O. Stinson, Mayor
Harold
R. Douga, Council Member
Paul
Patin, Council Member
ABSENT: William “BB” Loyd, Mayor Pro Tem
ALSO PRESENT: None
Kenneth Stinson, Mayor
called the meeting to order and reported that the purpose of the meeting was as
follows:
1.
To discuss and/or transact
business pertinent to Bid recommendation for Water Efficiency Improvement
Program.
It was moved by Council
Member Bujard that a Conditional Award of a construction contract to Simco
Enterprises, LTD in the amount of $829,250.00 for LDEQ Project No. CS221245-01;
Water Efficiency Improvement Program – Water Distribution Meter
Installation. Final award of the
construction contract is subject to approval of the LDEQ. The motion was seconded by Council Member
Merchant and the vote cast thereon was as follows:
YEAS: Council Members Bujard, Douga, Merchant and
Patin
NAYS: None
ABSENT:
Council Member Loyd
There being no further business to
come before the governing authority, it was moved by Council Member Douga that
the meeting be adjourned. The motion was
seconded by Council Member Bujard and carried.
