Vinton, Louisiana

October 12, 2009

The Mayor and Council of the Town of Vinton, Louisiana, met in special session at the regular meeting place of said Mayor and Council, in the Town Hall, Vinton, Louisiana, at 6:00 P.M., on the 12^th day of October, 2009, after full compliance with all requirements as to notice and otherwise in respect to convening of said meeting with the following members present:

Kenneth O. Stinson, Mayor

Bliss Bujard, Council Member

Harold R. Douga, Council Member

William “BB” Loyd, Mayor-Pro-Tem

Kevin Merchant, Council Member

Paul Patin, Council Member

ABSENT: None

ALSO PRESENT: Thad Minaldi, Town Attorney

Kenneth Stinson, Mayor called the meeting to order and reported that the purpose of the meeting was as follows:

1. Executive Session regarding recent issues in FEMA Appeal.

It was moved by Council Member Merchant that the special meeting be recessed for an executive session. The motion was seconded by Council Member Douga and carried.

It was moved by Council Member Loyd that the special meeting be re-convened. The motion was seconded by Council Member Merchant and carried.

Mayor Stinson announced that Attorney Minaldi had discussed recent issues with the drainage lateral and hanger FEMA Appeals in executive session.

There being no further business to come before the governing authority, it was moved by Council Member Douga that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Council Member Patin and carried.
