Vinton Louisiana

The Governing Authority of the Vinton Public Power Authority was convened in regular session in the Town Hall, Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at approximately 8:00 P.M. after full compliance as to notice and otherwise in respect to convening of said meeting with the following members present:

Kenneth O. Stinson, President

Bliss Bujard, Director

Karen Douglass, Director

William “BB” Loyd, Director

Kevin Merchant, Director

ABSENT: Edward J. Vice, Director

ALSO PRESENT: Thad Minaldi, Board Attorney and Melba Landry, Secretary

President Stinson called the meeting to order.

It was moved by Director Douglass to authorize the Treasurer to pay the bills for the month. The motion was seconded by Director Loyd and carried.

Mayor Stinson presented the 2008 budget to the governing authority.

After discussion, it was moved by Director Douglass to adopt the 2008 budget as presented. The motion was seconded by Director Loyd and carried.

There being no further business to come before the governing authority, it was moved

by Director Douglass that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Director Bujard and carried.
