Vinton, Louisiana

July 24, 2009

The Mayor and Council of the Town of Vinton, Louisiana, met in special session at the regular meeting place of said Mayor and Council, in the Town Hall, Vinton, Louisiana, at 5:30 P.M., on the 24^th day of July, 2009, after full compliance with all requirements as to notice and otherwise in respect to convening of said meeting with the following members present:

Kenneth O. Stinson, Mayor

Bliss Bujard, Council Member

Harold R. Douga, Council Member

William “BB” Loyd, Mayor-Pro-Tem

Kevin Merchant, Council Member

Paul Patin, Council Member

ABSENT: None

ALSO PRESENT: Thad Minaldi, Town Attorney

Kenneth Stinson, Mayor called the meeting to order and reported that the purpose of the meeting was as follows:

Executive Session regarding Fire Department Administration

It was moved by Council Member Merchant that the special meeting be recessed for an executive session regarding fire department administration. The motion was seconded by Council Member Loyd and carried.

It was moved by Council Member Douga that the special meeting be re-convened. The motion was seconded by Council Member Loyd and carried.

Mayor Stinson reported that the issues regarding the fire department administration were discussed and resolved without any action to be taken by the governing authority.

There being no further business to come before the governing authority, it was moved by Council Member Douga that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Council Member Bujard and carried.
