The Governing
Authority of the Vinton Public Power Authority was convened in regular session
in the Town Hall, Tuesday, March 18, 2008, at approximately 7:00 P.M. after
full compliance as to notice and otherwise in respect to convening of said
meeting with the following members present:
Kenneth
O. Stinson, President
William
“BB” Loyd, Director
Kevin
Merchant, Director
Edward
J. Vice, Director
ABSENT:
ALSO PRESENT:
President Stinson called the meeting to order.
It was moved by
Director Loyd to authorize the Treasurer to pay the bills for the month. The motion was seconded by Director Bujard
and carried.
President
Stinson announced that he had received an application for the Economic
Development Rider from Taco Rico and after metering them for several months
they have been determined to be eligible for the rider.
A long
discussion ensued regarding some wording in the rider and it was decided that
the attorney would review it and make some suggestions as to amending the rider
for the Directors to consider.
President
Stinson reported on the APPA Conference he attended.
There being no
further business to come before the governing authority, it was moved
by
Director Bujard that the meeting be adjourned.
The motion was seconded by Director Loyd and carried.
