Vinton, Louisiana

February 18, 2011

The Mayor and Council of the Town of Vinton, Louisiana, met in special session at the regular meeting place of said Mayor and Council, in the Town Hall, Vinton, Louisiana, at 6:00 P.M., on the 18^th day of February, 2011, after full compliance with all requirements as to notice and otherwise in respect to convening of said meeting with the following members present:

Kenneth O. Stinson, Mayor

Harold R. Douga, Council Member

William “BB” Loyd, Council Member

Kevin Merchant, Council Member

Paul Patin, Council Member

ABSENT: Bliss Bujard, Council Member

ALSO PRESENT: Thad Minaldi, Town Attorney

Kenneth Stinson, Mayor called the meeting to order and reported that the purpose of the meeting was as follows:

1. Discuss and/or transact business pertinent to Resolution authorizing the advertising for bids on the Loree Street Bridge Project.

It was moved by Council Member Loyd that the following Resolution be adopted. The motion was seconded by Council Member Merchant and carried.

RESOLUTION

BE IT RESOLVED by the governing authority of the Town of Vinton, Louisiana, in special session convened that Meyer and Associate, Inc., is hereby authorized to advertise to receive bids on the Loree Street Bridge and Road Extension Project.

APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 18^th day of February, 2011.

There being no further business to come before the governing authority, it was moved by Council Member Douga that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Council Member Loyd and carried.
