Vinton Louisiana

The Governing Authority of the Vinton Public Power Authority was convened in regular session in the Town Hall, Tuesday, January 16, 2007, at approximately 8:00 P.M. after full compliance as to notice and otherwise in respect to convening of said meeting with the following members present:

Kenneth O. Stinson, President

Karen Douglass, Director

William “BB” Loyd, Director

Kevin Merchant, Director

Robert D. Tatum, Director

Edward J. Vice, Director

ABSENT: None

ALSO PRESENT: Andre’ Buisson, Board Attorney

Thad Minaldi, Board Attorney

Melba Landry, Secretary

President Riggins called the meeting to order.

It was moved by Director Merchant to authorize the Treasurer to pay the bills for the month. The motion was seconded by Director Loyd and carried.

It was moved by Council Member Douglass that President Stinson be appointed to represent the VPPA on the American Public Power Authority Board. The motion was seconded by Director Loyd and carried.

There being no further business to come before the Governing Authority, it was moved

by Director Douglass that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Director Loyd and carried.
